Chief Risk Officer

I'm supporting a growing insurer with the appointment of a Chief Risk Officer (SMF4) to join its Executive Leadership Team.This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the Enterprise Risk function, taking ownership of the Risk Management Framework, Risk Appetite Framework, Board reporting and regulatory engagement, while providing independent oversight across financial and non-financial risks.

• Proven senior Risk leadership experience within the insurance market (insurance experience is essential).
• Strong knowledge of Solvency UK / Solvency II and the Senior Managers & Certification Regime.
• Board-level stakeholder management and regulatory engagement experience.
• A track record of developing and enhancing Enterprise Risk frameworks within a regulated insurer.
