Care Home Chefs Required Southampton | Salisbury | New Forest | Winchester | Portsmouth | Isle of Wight

£17.00 - £30.00 per hour | Weekly Pay | Flexible Shifts

Blue Arrow's Chef Division is recruiting experienced chefs to support a variety of care homes across Hampshire and the surrounding areas.

If you are passionate about delivering nutritious, high-quality meals and making a difference to resident's lives, we have regular temporary and ongoing opportunities available.

Essential Requirements

✅ Previous Chef experience within Care Homes, Healthcare, Contract Catering or similar environments✅ Enhanced Adult DBS Certificate (within 12 months or registered on the Update Service)✅ IDDSI Training and experience preparing modified texture diets✅ Food Safety Level 2 or above✅ Reliable and professional approach✅ Own transport preferred due to some rural locations

Pay Rates

£17.00 - £30.00 per hour Enhanced weekend and bank holiday rates available Weekly pay Holiday pay accrued separately

Duties Include

* Preparing nutritious meals for elderly residents* Producing meals in line with IDDSI guidelines and special dietary requirements* Managing allergens and nutritional needs* Maintaining high standards of food safety and kitchen hygiene* Stock control and ordering* Supporting care homes during staffing shortages, annual leave and sickness cover
