Software Engineer – C++ / Mathmatics focus – Motorsport Simulation - Fully Remote
Are you a Software Engineer with a love of mathematics who wants to be working on the most interesting problems in motorsport?
We are actively seeking a skilled Software Engineer with strong academics to join our clients team. Our client plays a pivotal role in transforming the performance strategies of motorsport teams, including those in Formula 1, Formula E, Indy Car, LMP, and various other series.
Duties will include:
Engaging with clients to enhance their comprehension of vehicle performance
Maximise the utility of cutting edge tools
Identifying and resolving bugs reported by clients or discovered through in-house usage
Introducing new features as per client requests
Utilising innovative components to fresh simulation approaches crucial for achieving competitive success Skills & Experience
Will thrive on working from your own initiative and capable of working effectively in a fully remote role.
C++ Software Engineering experience
Extremely mathematical minded and demonstrably skilled in applied and theoretical maths and physics
Interest in motorsport / Formula 1 is desirable but not essential
Salary and Benefits
Basic salary in the range £70,000 to £80,000 dependent on experience
Fully remote working and to hours that suit you (you really can work anywhere – some of them team base themselves from ski resorts, others from the beach)
